【Overview】
At the 28th session of the CCPCJ, Mr.Takeshi SETO, Director of the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (UNAFEI) delivered a statement at the plenary meeting.
UNAFEI also called on the attendees to join the Kyoto Congress from 20 to 24 April 2020 and to contribute their experiences and ideas to the discussions during the Kyoto Congress.

UNAFEI will participate in the twenty-eighth session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, 20-24 May 2019, Vienna
From 20-24 May 2019, several UNAFEI members (as listed below) will participate in the twenty-eighth session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Vienna. In addition to the plenary session, the members will join ancillary events as below.

On 27 April 2019, UNAFEI Deputy Director Kayo ISHIHARA will be interviewed on the Japanese radio programme, “AKIMOTO Sayaka to JOY no Weekly Japan!!”(Weekly Japan by Sayaka AKIMOTO and JOY). During the interview, Deputy Director Ishihara will highlight UNAFEI and its activities. The programme will broadcast from 11:00 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. on TOKYO FM. If you can understand Japanese, please tune your radio to the programme!
